Leaders – Are They Necessary?

If there were no leaders, then there would be only followers, right? Who would make decisions, challenge the status quo, initiate idea generation, challenge, encourage, and protect? Do you know that being a leader does not mean having positional power, earning more money, having a higher degree, and/or attending a better university? It is about contributing valuable ideas. Therefore, leaders are needed. Lead on and lead well!

Be Flexible…Be Adaptable…Be Purposeful

We create plans; however, plans should be flexible and we should be able to adapt to new plans and possibilities. Be purposeful in planning a new path and stay on course until the next bump in the road approaches.

What is organizational culture?

Do you enjoy the people you work with? What is the atmosphere? Do people complain or are they excited about the work they do? Do you like the work processes? It all boils down to happiness. If people do not enjoy working with one another and are generally unhappy then the work they achieve is going to be sub-standard. Employees will not be motivated to do superior work or be innovative.
